Prizes and Honorable Mention
Submissions for the IGDA Unreal Engine 3 Worldwide Level Design Contest are eligible for prizes in the $1 Million Intel Make Something Unreal Contest as long as they are uploaded through Fileplanet and this site.
Final Judging Round
For each Category, 1 Finalists may be selected at the end of Phase 4 to compete for the Grand Prize in the Final Round. The number of finalists per Category is not predetermined. Epic Games will provide additional prizes including autographed posters, comic books, and art books for the first place winners of IGDA Unreal Engine 3 Worldwide Level Design Contest. Finalists shall be notified using the information contained in the entry form and the Finalist Submissions will be featured on this website by October 24th, 2009. So stay tuned.
Finalists will have until October 5, 2009 11:59:59 p.m. U.S. EST to make updates, improvements and modifications they choose to their existing Submission. On or about October 24, 2009, a panel of qualified judges will review and score the Finalist Submissions using the criteria listed in these Official Rules. The Submission receiving the highest overall score across categories will be selected as Grand Prize winner ("Selected Contestant"). The Selected Contestant's Submission will be highlighted on the official contest web site. Selected Contestant will be notified on October 24, 2009.
Final Judging for the IGDA Florida Chapters will be the main event at the Infinite Bits Conventions, Miami's first and South Florida's largest Video Game Convention the weekend of October 23-25. http://www.infinitebitsconvention.com/
